Hello & Welcome

 I was born in Chicago, Il where I currently  reside with my husband.  My first introduction to the arts began with ceramics and stained glass. From there I started woodworking until I found my love, my passion for painting and photography. I continued to expand my interests by sharing with others through the creation of  my business     J. Simon Designs. Through all of these experiences, I believe there is no end to the possibilities of what can be created

My inspiration stems from the joy I see in others who love my paintings. It drives my creativity.

Each work of art begins with a base of acrylic paint. Then the magic begins with music to inspire each piece, and a variety of materials and tools used to perfect my craft. Therefore, each painting is an original one of a kind, unique and exquisite.
